About
Colette Cooke

I started dancing with the Farrelly School of Irish Dancing in Dublin way back when I was just 4 years old. My teacher, Maire Ni Fhaircheallaigh, fondly known to many in the dance world as “Mollie”, has been a great inspiration to me.
Over the years I travelled with the Farrelly school to many folk dance festivals in Ireland, England, Wales, Denmark, Sweden, Czechoslovakia, Cyprus, to name but a few. I was a member of Mollie’s Senior ladies Ceili team, who won the world championships in 1987 and 1988. The weekend after our second win, I took my TCRG exam and have been teaching ever since. I am registered with An Coimisiun le Rincí Gaelacha.
I have classes catering for children and adults. Beginners and improvers are all welcome to my classes which are based in Raheny and Clontarf in Dublin.
