Important: There will be no Adults Irish Dancing Classes on Thursday 3rd May next. There is a class on Saturday 5th May (Bank Holiday weekend) and there will be adult classes from 8-10pm on Bank Holiday Monday which is 7th May. (No 7pm Beginners class but you are welcome to come to the 8pm class if you wish).

The new Raheny Dance studio is a new dance studio which I have opened on the first floor of River House (formerly part of the Walmer Clinic) in Raheny Shopping Centre. Irish Dancing Classes for Children are at 6pm on a Monday - Beginners only Adults class is 7pm on a Monday and intermediate and advanced classes are on Monday and Thursdays from 8-10pm and also on Saturday from 10.30am - 12.30pm. I am delighted to finally have my own base after over 20 years. I still have an adults class on a Tuesday in Ringsend and Irishtown community centre from 7.45pm-9.45pm and a childrens class on a wednesday from 4-5pm in St. Anthony’s house in Clontarf. The new studio is also available for hire and I am delighted to say that Zumba Time fitness classes are starting on Wednesday April 3rd and in May there will be Pre natal yoga and mother and baby yoga, For more information on classes please call 087 191 3354
Well done to Saoirse for the great dancing at the city of Dublin Feis today in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dublin, also Best of Luck to all my dancers taking part tomorrow.
There will be no class on Saturday next 10th March as we will be at the City of Dublin Feis and the following Saturday the class is also cancelled as it is St. Patrick’s Day.

The Raheny Dance studio is now home to the Colette Cooke School of Irish Dancing, and offers Irish Dancing Classes for Adults and Children. Everyone is welcome / Beginners and Improvers, simply come along to class and join in the fun. The Raheny Dance Studio is also available for hire for other types of dance, yoga, etc.
Today - Thursday 16th February 2012 is the opening of the Raheny Dance Studio - this is very exciting for me as it is my very own studio which I have been dreaming about for years. I can’t wait for the first class this evening. The Monday, Thursday and Saturday adult classes will all move to the new studio which is only around the corner from Scoil Aine and the Monday evening childrens class is also moving.
